Warragul women
A morning of intermittent rain marked the start of the Warragul Country Club Championships.
Winning the A grade daily event was Helen Amott 92/20/72 from Lyn Morrison 86/13/73.
The B grade winner was Simone Herbel with 101/27/74 while Judy Kennedy was the runner-up with 100/24/76.
C grade winner and the winner of the November monthly medal was Wendy Wilcox with a score of 106/35/71 from Linda Fowles on 106/30/76.
Down the line balls went to Helen Coghlan (90/14/76), Dawn Campbell (100/24/76), Maureen Kittelty (101/24/77), Debbie Corstorphin (91/13/78), Joy Marriott (91/13/78), Sue Jinks (104/26/78), Joan Nelson (111/33/78), Sandy Heenan (101/23/78), and Rose Gallagher (97/19/78).
Nearest the pin on the seventh was Janine Williams.
The A grade pro-pin was won by Helen Coghlan with Belinda Best the winner of B grade.
Sandy Heenan won the putting competition and Lyn Morrison had the lowest scratch score.
Seventeen women played in the nine-hole competition, the winner being Judy Wilkinson with nett 29 from Joyce Martine nett 31.
