Peter Collier supported Gymkhana day last Tuesday.

It was trying conditions in heavy rain , but well worth the effort with beautiful prizes to be won.

The winners for A grade were Leesa Matthews and Sue Stansfield with 42 points, while runners up were Leanne Pollard and Leonie McClure with 39.

The B grade winners were Sue Hatfield and Suzy Menzel with 38 points , and runners up were Glenda Gorton and Louise Ford with 36

Down the line balls went to Cheryl Deppler and Ethel Manly with 35, Wendy Hitchins and Gayle White 33, Fay Downward and Kay Grieve with 33.

Nearest the pins went to Shirley Roberts on the fifth hole, Leesa Matthews on the 10th hole and Carol Stevens on the 14th. The straightes­t drive went to Bev Goodwin. Cheryl Deppler from Trafalgar was A grade winner in the longest drive competitio­n.

Gayle White from Traralgon was the Bgrade winner, while Carol Stevens from Warragul was the C grade winner.

Today is Melbourne Cup day and all members are welcome to play.

Seniors

It was a rainy morning last Thursday and only the men braved the wet conditions.

It was a joint win with Max Luck and Graeme Alexander each scoring 15 points

The runners up were Richie Thomas, Gilbert Davis, and Graham Dorling with 13 points.
