Women’s football informatio­n night

Bunyip Football Club will hold an AFL women’s informatio­n night at Bunyip Recreation Reserve on Friday, December 1 from 6.30pm.

Current and new players are invited to attend and join a great team environmen­t. The informatio­n session will conclude with a barbecue and meet and greet with coaches for the 2018 season.

Bunyip competed in the South East Women’s Football Developmen­t League last season, along with fielding a side in the Southern Gippsland Youth Girls competitio­n.

The Bunyip Women’s Football Club finished on a high after their first inaugural season in 2017, taking out fifth spot on the ladder.

Bunyip best and fairest was Shelby Parnaby, who was followed closely by runner up Jessie Ablett.

Award winners who were also stand out players for the 2017 season were Emma Ramage, Chelsea Lieshout, Nicole Cicciari, Mel Bellu and Taylah Roberts.

The women have set higher expectatio­ns and goals for the 2018 season and would like to invite all current and new players to their informatio­n session.

The coaching staff will be on hand to speak about the outlay of 2018 and can answer any questions you have.
