Long day in field for Hallora Division 6

Drouin 6/320 (cc) vs Hallora It proved too be a long day in the field for Hallora after sending Drouin in to bat.

Steve Bleazby (32) and Brian McCarty (74) set the tone for the Hawks innings with a 115run opening stand.

Brad Cross (61) took charge of the scoring during the middle overs before Mick Caddy (55) and John Tomkins (54*) finished the day with a 109-run sixth wicket partnership.

A tough day for the bowlers resulted in Dean Alush (2/29) being the only multiple wicket taker.

With such a large target to chase it’s going to take something special for the Kangas to get up in this one. Ellinbank defeated Jindivick by forfeit. Iona clash with Western Park in a one-day contest this weekend.
