Cross snares five Division 6

Drouin 6/320 (cc) def. Hallora 10/267 Drouin has successfully defended their big total with Brad Cross producing a vital five wicket haul.

Hallora dominated the early part of the day with Jeff Ward (37) getting away to a good start.

Jacob (24) and Shaun Kleeven added 74 for the third wicket with a further 69 coming from Shaun Kleeven and Barry Heywood (28).

Kleeven dominated the scoring throughout, striking seven fours and six sixes on his way to 88. His dismissal (at the hands of Cross) however, triggered a massive collapse that would see the Kangas lose 7/52 to be all-out in the final over.

Darren Welford (29) offered some resistance late in the day.

Pick of the bowlers was Cross with 5/59 off 19 overs. Cameron Caddy chipped in with 2/19.

Iona drew with Western Park, Ellinbank defeated Jindivick by forfeit. while

A gritty century from Duy Vo, who injured his hamstring late in the innings, carried Western Park to victory over Drouin in division four.
