Why Community Banking is so important for Drouin

-

Drouin and District Community Bank® originally opened fifteen years ago after locals decided to take control of their financial destiny at a time when a number of other banks were leaving town.

Locally owned, the branch opened after a lot of hard work by a group of volunteers who were committed to ensuring that the people of Drouin would be able to access banking services in their own town.

Fifteen years on, this hasn’t changed. We know that people want the convenience of banking in their own town.

Whilst Westpac has recently closed its Drouin branch, Drouin & District Community Bank® is committed to providing banking services to continue benefiting our customers and the local community.

So far, we have returned $5,148,710 back to the community via dividends to local shareholders as well as community investments and grants to a wide variety of local groups.

As a local business we are also proud to be providing jobs for locals including three longstanding team members who have reached the ten year milestone.

We are proud to say we have created change in our community.

Drouin & District Community Bank® makes a difference and we encourage everyone to consider banking with us so we can continue to grow.

The more we grow, the more we can support Drouin and the surrounding community.

Your business and support is most welcome. Our Branch Manager Rob Hutchinson and his team will assist with all banking services, including appointments with a mobile Lender.
