Warragul Bowling Club had a reasonable day in round six of WGBD pennant on Saturday with two teams winning and three losing.

Division one: Warragul Trafalgar 64/104.

Brian Kennedy, John Vickerman, David Smith and Bill Clappers lost to James McCausland’s team 18/22. Terry Sullivan, David Alderman, Janette Gallasch and Clive Padgham lost to Tom Lodge’s team 18/20. Keith Wilkins, Ian Belling, Peter Gallasch and Glenn Lockett lost to Steve Lodge’s team 14/29. Ken Landman, Elsie Hefford, Necip Akarsu and Ken Scammell lost to Scott Jones’ team 14/33.

Division two: Warragul (2) defeated Moe (2) 134/64.

Ron Collins, Shirley Melsen, Eric Porter and Roy Hammond defeated R. Bartley’s team 30/21. Ted Holland, Alan McDonnell, Pat Hammond and Bob Currie defeated L. Stolarik’s team 33/18. Matt Smith, Brian Barby, Lester Mason and Jim Moyle defeated lost to B. Rodgers’ team 34/16. Kerrie Currie, Gabrielle Draisma, Andy Kidd and Peter Wood defeated N. Savige’s team 37/9.

Division three: Warragul (3) lost to Drouin (2) 80/100.

Jean Kydd, Ken Brown, Greg Mitchell and Ken Taylor defeated Graham Woolstencr­oft’s team 26/19. Bill Clark, Marg Keeffe, Chris Wilkins and Mark Hall lost to David Tayles’ team 19/27. Bob Dowal, Peter Howlett, David Gatewood and Linda McCoy lost to Noel Rubenstein’s team 17/30. Flynn Pallot, Bill Dye, Barry Downer and Steve Pallot lost to Colin Finger’s team 18/24.

Division five: Warragul (4) defeated Moe (3) 99/52.

Alison Matthews, Wilf Boscombe, May Baldwin and Alan Potter defeated W. Lock’s team 47/10. Freda Lay, Lindsay Matthews, David Piggin and Len Duncan defeated M. Muccillo’s team 27/17. Glynis Mitchell, Gwenda Mason, David Anderson and Vin Roche drew with R. Essler’s team 25/25.

Division six: Warragul (5) lost to Drouin (4) 30/57.

Fletcher Pallot, John Bell, Rick McCoy and Trevor Croft lost to Kath Dixon’s team 15/32. Gary Thomas, Ruth Waring, Michael Royce and Mike Cousens lost to John Kinrade’s team 15/27.

In round seven of WGBD pennant on Saturday, Warragul one is home to Traralgon, Warragul two is away to Garfield, Warragul three is home to Morwell, Warragul four is away to Traralgon RSL and Warragul five is home to Trafalgar.

Club matches

The finals of the men’s and women’s singles championsh­ips will be played on Sunday from 10am.

Graeme Davis will play Ken Scammell while Gabrielle Draisma will play Jean Kydd.

The mixed pairs is down to the semifinals. Clive Padgham and Shirley Melsen will play Ian Belling and Linda McCoy while Elsie Hefford and Matt Draisma will play David Smith and Jean Kydd.
