Warragul 2/116 def Jindivick 10/101 Warragul’s Nick Mulqueen has led his side to a big win over Jindivick with a blistering half-century.

Defending a modest total of just 101 the Jumping Jacks were on the back foot from the outset with Mulqueen and Amandeep Singh (23) putting on 42 for the first wicket.

Mulqueen dominated the remainder of the innings striking 15 boundaries and 1 six on his way to a season high 72 not out.

It was tough work for the bowlers with Shane Hoskins and Ben Giles the only two able to break through for a wicket.

Earlier in the day it was Kevin Larkman who top scored for the visitors with 37. Rory Payne (15) and Nick Bagnall (18) both made good starts before falling to Liam Bow.

Wickets were shared amongst the bowlers with Amandeep Singh (2/13), Jason Pisa (2/24), and Bow (2/12) all getting involved.

Hawks hold on

Drouin 9/141 (cc) def Hallora 6/117 (cc) Drouin has held off a determined Hallora to take the points in their clash at Drouin.

Having been sent in by the visitors the Hawks made a steady start with Lochie Downie (22) and Clint Osseweyer (16) opening up.

The Kangas kept the pressure on with regular wickets and it was only Jack Jarred who got away from them a bit, top scoring with a timely 40.
