Maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s CCG
Stellar results require stellar skills, and the Community College Gippsland (CCG) Hair and Beauty School is poised to deliver just that in 2018.
Whether you are seeking to enter the industry or maintain cutting edge skills with professional development, CCG is ready to take you to the next level.
The CCG Hair and Beauty School offers a range of certificate qualifications, designed to provide graduates with the skills needed to hit the ground running.
Students learn hands-on in a salon environment, working with real clients under the guidance of our trainers, who are all industry qualified professionals.
CCG is responding to the barber shop renaissance with the introduction of a Certificate III in Barbering course.
This new qualification will focus on services in high demand, including beard and moustache maintenance, face shaves and clipper cuts, while also covering the key aspects of hairdressing.
The barbering course joins an already impressive hair and beauty training offering, with qualifications in beauty services, beauty therapy, salon assistance and hairdressing all currently taking applications for 2018.
Qualified beauticians and hairdressers can also build upon their professional portfolio this year, with a series of short workshops that build specialist skills in current trends.
These skill-up opportunities allow staff to expand the range of services they can offer clients in the salon.
CCG will deliver short courses in balayage, bouncy blowdries, creative colour, makeup, waxing, spray tanning, powder dip nails and more.
The community benefits from the learning process too, with CCG operating a salon that is open to the community by appointment.
The salon offers a range of services at budget friendly prices and helps our students to hone their skills to perfection.
