Bunyip Rodeo on Saturday

-

Another big crowd is expected for the Bunyip Rodeo on Saturday with several entries received.

Bunyip Rodeo Group president Alan Wright said there would be action packed fun for the whole family, with children’s entertainment and rides including a mechanical bucking bull for all to enjoy.

“We have a lot of entries and are expecting a big crowd,” he said.

“Woodall Rodeo Promotions is the event’s promoter and has the best stock going around.”

The non-stop action will include huge horned and bucking bulls and horses, along with resident clowns.

Entries are still open for the event, which will include a local women’s and junior barrel race. Enter on the day or visit the website www.woodallrodeo.com.au.

Mr Wright said patrons would be well catered for, with plenty of seating available on hay bales and trucks and 10 food and drink vendors onsite.

“So far the Rodeo Group has handed out more than $8000 in funding and with you attending, it allows more to go back to the community, so come along and have a great family day,” he said.

Gates open at noon with the action to commence at 2pm. Entrance to the event is strictly via Berry Lane only.

The rodeo is strictly a non-BYO alcohol event, with dogs prohibited.
