Warragul 10/165 vs Drouin 1/62 Drouin are in the box seat after sending Warragul in to bat on day one of their round 14 clash.

The Gulls top order faltered with Nicholas Caddy (3/41) wreaking havoc with the new ball.

Daniel Whitten (20) and Cameron Smith (19) steadied before another flurry of wickets left the home side reeling at 7/77.

Jason Pisa and Toby Shelton shared an invaluable 44run partnershi­p that took the score into triple figures. Pisa top scored with 36 with Shelton contributi­ng 20. Matt Garvey (17) and Lachlan Shelton (20) gave handy cameos before the Hawks wrapped things up in the 46th over.

Dean Vincent finished with 3/33 while Kye Osseweyer toiled hard (18 overs) to snare 2/59.

With 21 overs remaining the visitor made a big dint in the target, making their way to 1/62 at stumps. Clint Osseweyer (20) made a good start while Jude Fernando will resume on 26.

Runs on the board

Bunyip 10/269 vs Jindivick 0/41 Bunyip were also sent in to bat by their opponents, posting a competitiv­e total before being dismissed in the 53rd over.

It was a tough day for the bowlers with wickets being evenly spread. Steve McGillivra­y (2/35) and James Maguire (2/41) were the pick of them.

In reply, the Jumping Jacks cruised to 0/41 from their 14 overs. Gordon Winstone (20*) and Steve McGillivra­y (16*) will take up the chase on day two.

With a full compliment of overs and a deep batting line-up the home side start as favourites, while the Bulls will be keen to take some early wickets. Hallora vs Western Park This match will be played as a one-dayer after an horrific car accident caused play to be abandoned due to helicopter­s needing to land on the oval.
