Neerim District through to semi

Neerim District’s division two team finished second on the ladder and will play Moe in the semi-final.

The team played Traralgon three on Saturday and won 105 to 90:

Peter Brooks (skip), Jim Fallon, Trevor Kuhnell and Chris Hogan defeated R Gray’s team 29/18.

Peter Throup (skip), Karren Sheers, Russell Meehan and Wes Ellis defeated R Davey’s team 24/17.

Shane Hogan (skip), Ray Watts, Ross Pollard and Steve Halligan lost to M Cumming’s team 27/16.

Angus McGillivray (skip), Pat Fraser-Aurisch, Tony Thornton and Colin McKay lost to G McRonald’s team 28/26.

Division four played Morwell and lost 92/54:

Mal Collins (skip), Thelma Schroeder, Phil Mapleson and John Rochford lost to D Bailey’s team 31/13.

Tom Goodwin (skip), Bruce Mironow, Dianne Tame and George Rymer lost to J Klein’s team 31/18.

Jim Schroeder (skip), Gerald Winter, Maureen Halligan and Greg Bond lost to L Edge’s team 30/23. Tuesday pennant Neerim District went down to Traralgon RSL 68/61.

Pat Fraser-Aurisch (skip), Dianne Tame, Gerald Winter and Jim Schroeder were behind all game to lose to J Tudor’s team 28/19.

Elizabeth Hodge (skip), Thelma Schroeder, Russell Meehan and Colin McKay had a close game but could not hold on and lost to K Smiles’ team 20/15.

Karren Sheers (skip), Maureen Halligan, Marion Willis and Gerry Engelstad were in front all game to defeat M Gibbins’ team 27/20.
