Drouin avoid relegation
Drouin avoided relegation in division four of Saturday pennant, recording a huge win over Trraralgon.
In a huge match for the side facing relegation if they lost, all four rinks prevailed for the team to win by 33 shots.
All players in each team bowled very well, with the division four team receiving a standing ovation on return to Drouin. Maureen Leighton read out the final scores to all who were in attendance, which was well received. Results: Division 1: Drouin 4/100 lost to Yallourn 16/104:

With the outdoor bowls nearly coming to a close, it will be then turn to Indoor carpet social bowls every Thursday night from 7pm.

Pairs champions
Mother and daughter duo Sheryl and Samantha Atkinson have been crowned Drouin Bowls Club women’s pairs champions.
Samantha is also the Strezlecki Region under 25s champion, having defeated Skye Twyte 21/4 in the final at Yallourn.
She will now go on to play against the final 16 in Victoria on Sunday February 25 at Burwood Bowls Club.
