Two day matches to finish season

Warragul District Cricket Associatio­n’s lower grades will also play two-day matches to complete their home and away season.

Division 4

Bunyip v Hallora – While Bunyip’s position in the top four is safe, the Bulls could move to second should the result of the match between Jindivick and Drouin fall its way.

The Bulls are four points behind secondplac­ed Jindivick, and six points and percentage clear of fourth-placed Drouin.

Hallora sit on the bottom of the ladder but could move should they secure an upset victory.

Jindivick v Drouin – Jindivick and Drouin meet will meet with both sides aiming to fine tune against good opposition ahead of the finals.

Warragul v Western Park – Western Park sit at the top of the table, and could only be dislodged with an upset loss and an outright win to Jindivick.

The Warriors will aim for a strong performanc­e against their lower ranked opponents, who will be doing everything in their power to avoid the wooden spoon.

Division 5

Garfield-Tynong v Jindivick – Top four teams go head to head in an exciting final round of division five.

While Garfield-Tynong hold top spot on the ladder, they may need to defeat third-placed Jindivick to keep it with second-placed Longwarry just three points in arrears.

Jindivick hold a six-point and percentage advantage to fourth-placed Western Park.

Longwarry v Western Park – Longwarry could move to top of the table with victory and an upset loss to the Titans.

Western Park are firmly entrenched in the top four and will be looking for a strong performanc­e ahead of the finals.

Drouin v Buln Buln – With neither side in contention, both teams will be aiming to finish the season on a high.

Division 6

Iona v Drouin – The division six top four is also set, with Drouin to finish top of the table regardless of the result.

Iona will likely remain in third position. To move up, fifth-placed Jindivick would need to up set second-placed Western Park, while for the Swamp Tigers to move down Ellinbank would need to defeat Hallora outright.

Western Park v Jindivick – Western Park will look for a strong showing ahead of the finals, with the Jumping Jacks playing for pride.

Hallora v Ellinbank – With both teams boasting young sides, the final round presents an opportunit­y to take a confidence boosting win.
