Fifty-one Warragul women played round two of the Veterans Trophy, this week sponsored by Marlene Wight.

Heather Reeves was the winner of the trophy with two consistent­ly good rounds, scoring nett 71 each week.

Being a stroke event, March monthly medal.

The winner of A grade with 91/21/70 was Sandy Heenan from Shirley Todd 86/16/70.

Lisa Heggart won B grade 96/24/72 with runner up Anna Boyd on 100/27/73.

The C grade winner and also winner of March monthly medal was Glenys Darmody 104/35/69. The runner up in C grade was Angela Stewart with 112/42/70. The best gross score was Kerri Ahearn with 84. Down the line balls went to Tracey Cusden 103/32/71, Beth Sibson 111/40/71, Kerri Ahearn 84/13/71, Di Christian 91/18/73, Barb Davidson 96/23/73, Heather Reeves 106/33/73, Sheila Applegate 115/42/73, Maureen Kittelty 97/23/74, Belinda Best 101/27/74, Carol Muldowney 116/42/74 and Heather Steenholdt 99/25/74.

Nearest the pin on the seventh was Heather Steenholdt, Julie Keeble on the 15th and Marlene Wight on the 18th.

Least putts on the day was Shirley Todd with 28 putts.

The A grade Mystery-6 winner was Jude Kennedy while Tracey Cusden won B grade.

Fifteen women played in the nine-hole stoke competitio­n off the yellow tees. Jennie Weir won with nett 28 from Barbara Wirth on nett 30.

Down the line balls went to Sue Montagnet nett 32, Nancy Devries nett 33 and Molly Answerth nett 34.
