Clearing sale to benefit the CFA

-

The annual Darnum Ellinbank Fire Brigade Clearing Sale will return on Sunday April 28 and offers a great opportunity to clear the shed, yard or cupboard of the items that you no longer need.

And at the same time it will help support community safety.

The clearing sale is part of the brigade’s fundraising program to maintain their recently purchased ultra-light tanker, which has already enhanced their ability to assist the community and did sterling service in the recent Seaview fire.

“Many people will have been saving goods from last year and we already have some great items, but many more are needed,” Captain John Camm said.

“We urge people to take this opportunity to keep their properties clear and provide a pleasant day for all by offering good quality items for farm, garden and house for donation or sale on commission.

“The show of the auction, the fun of getting a bargain, the pleasure of catching up with friends and neighbours, and the enjoyment of just seeing your community getting together all make the event one not to be missed.”

The clearing sale will be held at the Ellinbank Football Ground on Warragul/Korumburra Road from 10 am on Sunday April 29 and items for sale can be picked up from now.

Contact Paul Wilms on 0428 595 736 or John Camm on 0428 364 355 to offer items for sale.
