Address cat issue
An abundance of pet cats left to roam day and night by irresponsible owners are taking a heavy toll on the bird and animal life on the wetlands along Manikato Drive in Drouin.
Can the shire please do something to control these well fed thrill killers responsible for the lack of finches, wagtails and other wildlife.
It is also concerning to local animal lovers that every time a pair of ducks manage to hatch out ducklings that they are then cruelly and quickly dispatched by a marauding cat.
The shire has ignored the growing wandering cat problem for far too long and need to address this issue urgently. D. Smith, Drouin
