Comedy at Garfield

-

Fun and frivolity will be had when Garfield Picture Theatre hosts “A Pommie Night Out” on Saturday, May 5.

Inspired by British pub cabaret, the show stars “Bubble” and David who will perform singing, stand-up comedy and small pantomime skits of a hilarious comedic nature.

On arrival, audience participation will kick start the fun.

Garfield Picture Theatre’s Fred Perez promised “fun and frivolity from start to finish”.

“Bubble” makes up for a lack of height with a bubbling personality and wicked sense of humour. She has appeared all over the world, even working with Benny Hill.

David Lee-Jay has worked in entertainment for many years, including top British groups “The Fortunes” and “The Applejacks”. He has appeared in many English pantomimes.

Tickets are $50 per person, which includes a light supper at interval.

Doors open at 6pm with the show commencing at 7.30pm.
