Longwarry headed a round of one-sided contests in the under 16s, easily accounting for Buln Buln 15-16 (106) to 2-1 (13).

Only some inaccurate kicking prevented the Crows from completely blowing away the Lyrebirds in the first half.

Flynn Davey brought some joy for the visitor in the third term, kicking their first goal, but the Crows continued to control proceeding­s with nine goals to two in the second half pushing the final margin out.

Angus Amadiak booted four goals, while Aidan Fox chipped in with three majors, one from a good chase down tackle.

Bailey Stephens, Bailey Osseweyer, Harrison Stephens and Brodie Bould also helped the Crows to a big win.

Max Chesterfie­ld, Fynn Hammond, Ren Coghlan, Ray Smith, Alex Hasan and Riley Armstrong battled for Buln Buln.

Magpies swoop Cats

Poowong comfortabl­y accounted for Neerim-Neerim South, 15-13 (103) to 5-4 (34).

The Magpies kicked six goals to nil in the first term and were never headed, although were challenged by the Cats in the third term which saw both sides slot four goals.

Kyle Loveridge booted three goals, while Ryan Knight, Tane Derrick, Hayden Wallis, Bailey Furjan, Zac Gray and Josh Marriott also helped the Magpies to a big win.

Isaac Fuller (two goals), Rhonan Perry, Daly Taylor, Reece Clarke, Thomas Crole and Lachlan Smith led a determined effort in the third term for the Cats.

Eagles in control

Ellinbank controlled its match against Catani, keeping its opposition goalless on the way to winning 10-12 (72) to 0-3 (3).

The Eagles kicked three goals to no score in the first term and were never headed.

Sam Pratt booted three goals while Matthew Dare, Ryan Atherton, Max Kittelty, Lachlan Sherry, Will Scammell and Liam Fennell also helped the Eagles maintain control.

Nathan Gard, Josh Scott, Matthew Foster, Cooper Silver, Josh Grogan and Jake HartleyMon­ckton battled for the Blues.
