WDJFL finals begin

Warragul and District Junior Football League finals will begin this weekend with qualifying and elimination finals.

The WDJFL is again playing a top six this year.

The grand finals will be played at Garfield on Sunday, August 26. Finals venues: Saturday, August 4: Under 12 and Under 14 qualifying finals at Drouin Recreation Reserve.

Sunday, August 5: Under 10 qualifying and elimination finals at Eastern Park.

Saturday, August 11: Semi finals at Drouin Recreation Reserve.

Saturday, August 18: Preliminary finals at Hallora.

Sunday, August 26: Grand finals at Garfield.

Qualifying schedule:

Saturday at Drouin Recreation Reserve: and elimination Under 12s: 8.30am: The Bulls v Garfield (1st elimination final).

9.30am: Drouin Gold v Drouin Maroon (2nd elimination final).

10.30am: Warranor v Warragul Blues (qualifying final). Under 14s: 11.30am: Warranor v Longwarry (1st elimination final).

12.50pm: Garfield v Bunyip (2nd elimination final).

2.10pm: Drouin Gold v Warragul Blues (qualifying final). Sunday at Eastern Park: Under 10s: 8.30am: Drouin Gold v Warranor (1st elimination final).

9.30am: The Bulls v Drouin Maroon (2nd elimination final).

10.30am: Garfield v Caldermeade (qualifying final).
