Warragul Bowling Club had another bad day in round two of WGBD pennant on Saturday, with just one team winning.

Division two: Warragul (1) defeated Yallourn (2) 82/77.

John Vickerman, Des Stephens, Janette Gallasch and Graeme Davis lost to Bob Goldie’s team 16/21. David Alderman, David Ferguson, Peter Gallasch and Clive Padgham lost to Jim Cuthbertso­n’s team 16/27. Luke Ward, Jim Power, Necip Akarsu and Ken Scammell defeated John Leicester’s team 27/17. Ken Landman, Pat Hammond, Paul Simmons and Bill Clappers defeated Ron Curtis’ team 23/12.

Division two: Warragul (2) lost to Traralgon (2) 69/117.

Kerrie Currie, Alan McDonnell, Fred Pitcher and David Smith lost to Ken Mooney’s team 10/27. Brian Barby, Ron Collins, Brian Headspeith and Bob Currie lost to Greg McRonald’s team 15/32. Lester Mason, Ken Brown, Shirley Melsen and David Gatewood lost to Geoff Cole’s team 24/26. Ken May, Graham Cobban, Roy Hammond and Peter Wood lost to Graham Cross’ team 20/32.

Division three: Warragul (3) lost to Yinnar 68/125.

Ted Holland, Brian Kennedy, Nug Davies and Eric Porter lost to Tom Short’s team 18/30. Jean Kydd, David Anderson, Vin Roche and Stan Hunt lost to Wayne Harris’ team 17/30. John Bell, Barry Downer, Jack Lee and Keith Wilkins defeated Tim Roche’s team 24/23. Freda Lay, Glad Atkinson, May Baldwin and Elsie Hefford lost to Murray De Lahaye’s team 9/42.

Division five: Warragul (4) lost to Traralgon RSL 65/72.

Barb Maloni, Marg Keefe, Chris Wilkins and David Piggin lost to M. Gibbins’ team 16/31. Bill Dye, Dawn Thomas, Peter Howlett and Mike Cousens defeated D. McClare’s team 22/20. Gary Thomas, Patrick McGowan, Bill Clark and Greg Mitchell defeated F. Metcalf’s team 27/21.

Division six: Warragul (5) lost to Thorpdale (2) 32/64.
