Smartline’s Michael Slaughter takes out business growth award

-

Working in banking over the years, Michael Slaughter has seen first-hand the importance of choosing the right loan. Now the owner of the Smartline franchise in Drouin, Michael is passionate about helping people build personal wealth by making good financial decisions.

“There’s no doubt that getting good quality lending advice can have far reaching ramifications for people’s long term financial health,” says Michael. “As a broker, it’s very humbling to be able to play my part in helping people in our community achieve their financial dreams. It’s difficult for borrowers to keep fully abreast of what can be a fickle lending market and make good lending choices on their own.”

Michael’s dedication and integrity has seen him become an increasingly popular mortgage adviser in the region; his business has grown by over 60% in the past 12 months. Michael’s efforts were rewarded recently when he won the VIC Business Growth Award at the Smartline Gala Awards dinner.

“Among Smartline’s 400 highly qualified mortgage advisers, there are some who are regarded in the industry as some of the best in the business,” says Michael. “It is certainly an honour to be amongst this group of high calibre professionals.”

Jason Lee of Harcourts Warragul has been named one of Australia’s leading real estate dealmakers in a national list of top performing estate agents.

Jason Lee has secured a position in the Real Estate Business (REB) Dealmakers 2018 ranking.

The list ranks real estate agents across Australia according to a range of metrics, including volume, year-on-year growth and consistency of performance.

The REB Dealmakers 2018 ranking is an initiative of leading industry resource Real Estate Business, which is produced by awardwinning media business Momentum Media.

REB editor Tim Neary said that there were some surprises in this year’s ranking and that stats reveal some interesting new trends driven by the current challenges across most of the country’s markets.

Mr Neary said the country’s more experienced agents emerged as the top dealmakers, maintaining extraordinary levels of performance despite the challenges.

“It tells of a group of established agents separating themselves from the pack by being true business leaders in the industry,” said Mr Neary.

Mr Neary said this is the foremost ranking of dealmakers in Australia.

“Those who make the prestigious list are emulated, sought-after and held in the highest esteem, even by competitors who are chasing their tails.”

The data collected for the 2018 REB Dealmakers ranking was verified by a senior member of the agency or network, or the office’s accountant.

Call in and congratulate Jason on his achievement at Harcourts Warragul, 1/66 Smith Street, Warragul or phone the dealmaker direct on 5622 3333.
