Special song shows love for bride

A special song from groom Joshua Pabst to his bride Tegan Walker marked a special celebratio­n of their nuptials.

Joshua, the son of Wayne and Sabrina Pabst of Trafalgar, wed Tegan, eldest daughter of Brendan Kingwill and Natalie Sands also of Trafalgar, in a ceremony held at Kongwak church on August 18.

The bride wore a fitted lace champagne gown from Fairytale Bridal in Moonee Ponds, with Babies Breathe headpiece placed in her hair.

Tegan was attended by sister Jessica Dehey and best friend Louise Hughes, who wore dusty pink dresses.

Hair and make-up was done by Make Up by Louise, Traralgon with each carrying a bouquet of flowers from Lily Pilly Moe.

Flowergirl Sophie Walker wore a white tutu dress from Colours of Life, Warragul and carried white petals.

Joshua was attended by best man Daniel Hammond and groomsman David Gange. The men wore nude pants with dusty pink and navy blue jackets from Rodger David.

Tracey Matthies of Unique Life Ceremonies officiated the ceremony.

The reception was held at Kongwak hall, where Joshua sang a song to his wife while his friend played the guitar.

The bride and groom’s first dance was joined by the brides’ daughter relaxing on her train as the couple danced.

The groom’s brother Nick had everyone in stitches as he emceed the reception.

The Wheelie Good Pizzas food van catered the event, feeding everyone their delicious pizzas.

Following the reception the bride, groom and bridal party were photograph­ed in the water at Inverloch beach by Bride to Be Photograph­y.

The couple shared with more loved ones at an after-wedding party held at Trafalgar RSL the next day.

The couple honeymoone­d in New Zealand and will make their home in Trafalgar.
