Authentic tribute to The Beatles

-

The atmosphere and energy of a live Beatles concert will be captured when “Rubber Soul” perform “The Beatles Show” at the West Gippsland Arts Centre on Friday at 11am.

All lifelong fans of The Beatles, the band has painstakingly reproduced the arrangements to ensure every note and harmony is faithful to the original.

This is not a cover band playing Beatles songs. It is the music of The Beatles sung and played like The Beatles played them – complete with authentic costumes and instruments.

Based in Melbourne, Rubber Soul has toured nationally and internationally since forming in early 2001. They preserve the original enthusiasm, excitement and spirit of The Beatles and their songs.

The members of Rubber Soul are Tommy Antoniou, David Gillard, John Kunz and Peter Watts who have a long association with each other and a wealth of experience in the music business. All have played together in various original and cover outfits over many years.

In recent years, the band has performed on the 100th anniversary historic Gallipoli Cruise in 2015 from Western Australia to Italy, travelled to Hong Kong to perform for The Beatles “Peace and Love” Exhibition and was the only Australian tribute act involved in the filming of an ABC story about The Beatles’ 40th anniversary visit to Australia.

Tickets for the Warragul show are $24 for adults, $20 for concession, $15 for members or groups, and $10 for youth under 18.
