New directors
Two new board members were appointed to Dairy Australia at the company’s annual general meeting last week.
David Lord and Roseanne Healy were elected to the board and James Mann was re-appointed to fill the director vacancies, each of the three roles requiring unique skills and expertise.
The new appointments further strengthen Dairy Australia’s focus on the whole of supply chain, processing, markets, food and sustainability.
After fulfilling an initial term on the board of Dairy Australia, James Mann has been re-elected as a director to fill the milk producer position on a three-year term.
James brings to the board over 30 years’ experience in the dairy industry, having been instrumental in developing one of Australia’s leading dairy businesses, Donovan’s dairying and was also the Chair of the DairySA board for 10 years.
David Lord has been elected to fill the threeyear term director role with a dairy processing background, for his extensive experience in fastmoving consumer goods and industrial food products.
David previously served as chief executive and managing director of Parmalat Australia, Warrnambool Cheese and Butter and most recently, Saputo Dairy Australia.
Roseanne Healy, has been elected to the board for a two-year term, filling the agribusiness, innovation and adoption vacancy.
Roseanne’s strong experience in the agriculture sector spans across her current board roles including deputy chair of the Grains Research and Development Corporation, chair of Dairysafe and chair of VineHealth Australia.
