Warragul 2/25 v Longwarry 171 Longwarry will enter day two of its clash with Warragul with the upper hand.

Following the loss of an early wicket, Randall Mitchell helped put the match on the Crow’s terms as he dominated the innings with 92 of his side’s 171 runs.

He combined with Cole Cook in a partnershi­p of 72 and Dom Pullen in a 50-run stand before the Crows lost their way when Mitchell fell with the score on 141. The Crows lost 7/30 to crash to 171 all out. Brian Christense­n had a big say in the collapse, finishing with 6/29.

Tim Whitten was the other multiple wicket taker.

Ball continued to dominate bat asd Vaughan Van Strijp collected two early wickets to send Warragul to stumps at 2/25.

Tyler Constantin­e and Lachlan Shelton will resume for the Gulls on Saturday.

Points for the taking
