Gippsland Centre Against Sexual Assault (GCASA) has a newly created Project Coordinato­r position offering an exciting opportunit­y to the successful candidate to make the role their own. We are seeking an experience­d practition­er who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children, young people and their families for those significan­tly impacted by trauma as a result of sexual assault. The 'No Wrong Door' Project Coordinato­r will provide early interventi­on focussing on key transition points for children and young people throughout GCASA’s service options. This project will focus on: Implementi­ng a demonstrat­ion project that forms early connection­s between GCASA and the wider service system particular­ly navigating successful early pathway opportunit­ies for our clients/participan­ts into our services. Promoting positive therapeuti­c engagement with children and young people through their counsellin­g experience. Strengthen­ing families’ knowledge and resources to support the family with a stronger care coordinati­on and early access to services that meets their needs. The successful applicant will hold a relevant tertiary qualificat­ion.
