A grade winner was Luke Bryant on 37 points while Karen MacGregor took out B grade with 35 points.

A stableford attracted 26 players last Tuesday. Winner: Les Pearce (+3), runner-up: Max Taylor (+2).

Women’s winner: Jo Baker (26), runner-up: Olwyn Balfour (24c/b).

Bob Calderara did best for the major grade with a handicap beating score of 40 points playing off his mark of 11. He was two points clear of Peter McNeish who finished second on a count back from Craig Hunter.

McNeish scored an eagle three on the par five 10th hole.

A final score of 35 points or better was required to get a ball down the line.

A good size field of 90 players turned out for Saturday’s comp which was played in glorious autumn conditions.

Reece Fishwick, on the back of some recent good form, won the A grade event on a count back from Peter Black, with a score of 38 points. Pieter Van Der Horst finished third just a further point away.

Mick Jusic got the B grade decision with a round of 41 points playing off his handicap of 19 He was two points clear of Peter Johnson in second place.

However, it was Mick Matthews achieving the day’s best result by a long way with a huge score of 46 points, playing off his mark of 27, more than enough to win the C grade event. Six points back was Rick Edwards in second place.

Pieter Van Der Horst scored the two nearest the pins on the par three ninth and 14th holes.

A final score of 37 points or better was needed to win a ball down the line.

The final results for the 2019 Easter Cup will be in next week’s report.

Next Saturday is the reschedule­d May Monthly Medal.

Can’t close off without mentioning the amazing round put together by Rob Coates on Sunday as he put together a round of supremacy with a winning score of 49 points playing off his handicap of 17.
