Words of wisdom?

-

Recently in Australia we have had warnings of the very serious implications and massive costs of extreme weather events contributed to the lackj of action on climate change.

Given these warnings and costs incurred from these catastrophic events, what is the Liberal party’s solution?

Perhaps it is Tony Abbott’s failed scheme or Malcolm Turnbull’s NEG which was thrown out because the conservative members of the government do not believe in climate change.

If 100 of the world’s top aeronautical engineers lined up to tell you a plane was unsafe to fly and three others with lesser qualifications said don’t believe the the plane is safe would you really want to get on the plane.

When the best climate scientists to UN can muster say that to deny global warming is it invite catastrophe smart peole listen

In light of these developments where does Member for McMillan Russell Broadbent stand on this issue?

I have not seen or heard any comment from him on this,

Therefore I presume he must support the Liberal position, or may be he might come out publicly and provide some words of wisdom.

Deborah Wearne, Drouin.

A Big Thank You to Danny Goss and the Baw Baw Shire for arranging to have the Easter Community Cross put up for Easter. Although in amongst the road works, it stood proudly.

The Easter Community Cross has been set up preceding Easter at the corner of Victoria and Smith Streets at least 20 years, if not longer.

One phone call to the council and Danny was onto it.

I would like to send a big bouquet of flowers to the very kind woman who stopped to give me a lift from the lane near McDonalds to the Warragul Library. She saw that I was struggling to walk and it was a very kind gesture.

A big bouquet to Momentao Magico Flowers at Drouin who kindly delivered to me a lovely plant because I had mentioned I had never had flowers delivered to me so she did. I was so thrilled with her kindness. Thank you.

Lots of bricks to the irresponsible cat owners who allow their cats to wander at night (one black and one gray) near Eastern Park playground, Warragul. I am sick of being woken up by my terrified pet rabbits.
