An Early Learning Program that nurtures young minds
The Early Learning Centre at St Paul’s Anglican Grammar School is a warm and inviting space, with highly experienced and qualified early childhood educators who work in partnership with parents to nurture and support each child to develop and ultimately, thrive.
The ELC programs at St Paul’s are designed to ensure that each child’s first schooling experience is a positive and happy one.
In a carefully planned and structured environment with rich sensory experiences that are both stimulating and exciting for children, individual and group experiences support all learning styles in a wide range of areas and incorporate a play-based approach to literacy, numeracy, science, and social and community development.
The curriculum, based on the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, promotes child-centred learning with rich content that is meaningful and developmentally appropriate.
The Pre-Prep program utilises the expertise of specialist teachers in the fields of Art, Music, Religious Education, Physical Education, Dance and Drama, with an introduction to Robotics and Japanese.
Strong links between the ELC and Junior School staff ensure a smooth transition occurs to primary school and that children’s learning can continue to accelerate as they progress to the early years of the Junior School.
Proud to be one of the leading schools in regional Australia, St Paul’s currently has limited vacancies for 2019 and are taking enrolments for 2020 and beyond and welcome you to contact their Enrolments Officer on 5623 5833 to arrange a personal tour.
