Male offender forces entry through window

-

Police are investigating a burglary in Warragul last Monday night in which a male forced his way through a window while demanding the occupants let him inside.

At about 11.45pm, the victims were inside the bedroom of their Alford St home playing video games when they heard a knock on the unlocked bedroom window.

One of the victims got up to draw the blind and see who was at the window.

An unknown male was at the window saying “let me in”.

Police said the offender quickly grabbed the window and heaved it upwards with force causing the glass to shatter. The victims left the room, shutting the door behind them.

Police said as the victims were shutting the door they observed the offending male climbing into the bedroom through the broken window.

Police said nothing appeared to be stolen and the offender left through the window.

The man was observed getting into a Toyota sedan or similar with another male before driving off.

The man was described as tall and skinny of Southern European appearance, with short collar length dark brown hair.

The man was wearing a black and red hooded jacket or shirt, possibly a Nike brand, dark coloured long pants and dark coloured gloves.

Police said the second male was described as solid to obese build who was possibly carrying something in his hands.
