Strassman returns

-

International comedy star David Strassman will return to Warragul to deliver his brand-new show “The Chocolate Diet” on Thursday, November 21.

Tickets are selling fast for his two shows at the West Gippsland Arts Centre at 7pm and 9.15pm.

Strassman, who is touring New South Wales and Victoria, is a tour de force in the world of ventriloquism. From London to New York, Strassman’s comic genius has shocked and surprised.

“The Chocolate Diet” is a hilarious look at our obsession with sweets and lollies. It is a send up of our failed diets and Ted E. Bare’s drama with his self-image and lifelong eating issues.

The show tells of the problem getting worse for Ted E. Bare as he can’t get the support he needs, especially with the sneaky Chuck Wood leaving tempting donuts around.

Meanwhile Chuck has his own personal drama - a sneaking suspicion that he was carved into the wrong body.

“I love making audiences laugh and this new show, ‘The Chocolate Diet’, is probably my funniest to date,” said Strassman. “It’s also quite delicious, and fattening!”

Since his early performances in the 1990s, Strassman has been embraced in Australia. He has toured to Warragul regularly over recent years.

“The Chocolate Diet” will be sure to delight audiences with side-splitting comedy and jaw dropping Puppetronics.

This performance is rated MA. No one under 12 years will be admitted and youth aged 12 to 15 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Tickets are $79.90 for premium, $59.90 for A reserve and $49.90 for B reserve.
