Bricks and Bouquets

-

Bouquets from The Cassidy Crew Lunch Club to the lovely man who paid for our lunch.

Our clients and carers were pleasantly surprised when they were told that someone had kindly paid for their lunch at White Grain on Wednesday. Thank you!

Bricks to Baw Baw Shire Council for not releasing results of its road maintenance survey.

As a respondent to the survey trying to be of some assistance to the council I’d like to know what the views were of residents and if mine were representative of the majority.

Makes me wonder whether I wasted my time.

Big bouquet to Nicki at Warragul Forest and Garden. I recently MAY have broken something on the ride on mower and within 36 hours of calling, she came and loaded it onto a trailer, had the problem fixed, serviced it and delivered it back to me, all without my husband ever knowing that something MAY have broken - until now! Fabulous local service

Brickbats to VicTrack and the Victorian Government

The state of railway land along the Gippsland line is a disgrace. There are blackberries almost continuously from Dandenong to Warragul. How can the Government expect others to comply with the Catchment and Land Protection Act when they give the finger to the environment themselves?

A brick to the person who is whinging about cigarette butts outside West Gippsland Hospital. Are you trying to legitimise smoking in a smoke free zone. Maybe the smokers should be fined for breaking the law, firstly for smoking and then for littering.

Bouquets and a huge thank you to the amazing SES volunteers for making our home in Darnum waterproof after storm damage on Thursday, November 21.

Bouquets and thank you for the manger scene in Drouin Memorial Park. I just love it. Also a thank you for the fireworks on Friday night.
