A Merry DIY Christmas with Metricon

-

Earlier this month, Traralgon locals flocked to a free Festive Home Styling Masterclass event run by Metricon Homes.

Guests had access to industry specialists who imparted handy tips about how to best style your home for the festive season.

The event took place at Metricon’s cutting edge design centre Studio M, and was focused on helping those who were looking to style their brand new home for its first Christmas, as well as interiors-lovers looking for festive inspiration and tips.

Metricon’s Manager, Gippsland, Jeff Telford said, “We know that your first Christmas in your new home is one you’ll never forget, but we also know that it can be a stressful time if you lack confidence when it comes to decorating your home – and that’s exactly why we ran this event. Locals had the opportunity to learn expert secrets to festive styling in a relaxed environment.”

“Our host Chris Carroll, the interior stylist, presenter and author behind the popular blog TLC Interiors, along with Metricon’s interior stylists shared inspiration and handy tips.

“They talked all things decorating, from ways to elegantly style your Christmas tree to how to wrap your gifts to match.

“A highlight of the evening was that we were joined by Flowers by Rhi who demonstrated how to create a stunning floral wreath to adorn your home. Guests got creative and hands on, and used beautiful blooms to design and create their very own festive wreaths.

“We were thrilled to be able to give guests some helpful tips and tricks to hopefully help them gain confidence to style their home for the festive season like a professional,” Telford concluded.
