Thefts from unlocked cars

Keys and a wallet were amongst the property stolen from two unlocked cars in Yarragon last week.

The two thefts occurred during the early hours of Thursday morning.

At a property in Old Yarragon-Leongatha Rd, offenders gained entry to an unlocked 2010 Holden Commodore ute that was parked in the driveway.

A wallet and car keys were stolen.

Police said offenders attempted to attempted to open three other vehicles at the property.

The victim heard her dog barking and when she looked outside at the time she saw a 1980s to 90ss red hatchback in her driveway.

In another incident at a Gordon Rd property, offenders gained entry to a 2019 Ford EcoSport wagon.

Car keys, front gate keys and a hard disk were stolen.
