Fix the paths

-

Bouquets to V/Line for keeping us moving during COVID-19.

I have seen cleaning crews visit Trafalgar Station daily. There are also extra buses to reduce the number of people on busy trains.

Bricks to Telstra who have closed customer service by phone for months but are still selling products by phone

I am writing in response to Peter Driessen’s letter (Gaz 30/6) in relation to Baw Baw spending some money on the walking track from Princes Way through Brooker Park. I could not agree more with Peter.

I now walk my dog around Eastern Park oval. Even though it is lucky I wear sturdy sneakers because I almost twisted my ankle on the “rock’ filled puddles around the path. And by the way the shire missed the worst and biggest puddles.

A good load of gravel soon will be better. Think of the keen people who diligently try and keep fit, especially us oldies as the same time as being responsible pet owners by walking our dogs.

Janet Steven, Warragul

Huge pile of bricks to the guys door knocking in Grange Cres, Warragul area on Thursday night, wanting to change light globes, and the company they work for. Don’t they know about the lockdown only a few kilometres away. Would love to know where they travelled from.

Beautiful bouquets for Gippslanders being so friendly. I love that we can go for a walk or go shopping and receive a simple door being held open for you or a smile on your way past. Hats off to you all it’s a breath of fresh air.

Bricks to council development for allowing such tiny blocks to be developed and built on. Why can’t we be residential and grow without having to live on top of each other. Five hundred square metres is not Gippsland living It’s just copy and paste of the rat race all in the name of dollar making.
