Scott MacDonald joins the Partnership at Wakefield Vogrig & Boote Lawyers
Wakefield Vogrig & Boote Lawyers are excited to announce that as at 1 July 2020 Scott MacDonald has joined the partnership.
Scott joined the firm as a solicitor in 2018 and has been practising in a variety of legal areas, including: Family Law, Criminal Law, Intervention Orders, Victims of Crime Applications, Wills, Debt Litigation and Deceased Estates.
Prior to joining the firm, Scott worked in the Magistrates’ and County Courts, and he brings a breadth of legal experience to the firm.
The welcoming of Scott to the partnership, marks another particularly significant change within the partnership firm.
Both Anthony Vogrig and Sabina Wakefield have retired from the partnership.
Anthony has been a Partner of the firm for over thirty-five years, and while Sabina has been a solicitor for a similar time period, she advanced her career in other firms before joining Anthony in the partnership during 2004.
Anthony and Sabina both have an exemplary reputation among their clients, work colleagues, and the broader community for both being very knowledgeable lawyers, who are client-focused, approachable, and of the passionate about the law.
The firm would like to reassure all of Anthony and Sabina’s clients that they are not retiring as lawyers, just from the additional demands of running the business.
Both of them intend to keep working as lawyers within the firm, for the long term, continuing to service the legal needs of their clients. They will also continue to be mentors to the staff, and to the new partnership.
Moving forward, the firm of Wakefield Vogrig & Boote Lawyers, including 24 staff, will now be led by Kylie Boote, Tessa Hoogerbrugge and Scott MacDonald.
Kylie has worked as a solicitor within the firm since 2003, and has been a Partner since 2015, while Tessa joined the partnership in 2019.
Between them, Kylie, Tessa and Scott have almost fifty years of legal experience.
Kylie, Tessa and Scott are very enthusiastic to continue to grow the firm, advancing it for decades to come.
They are excited to ensure that the firm continues to run successfully, servicing the legal needs of the community to a high standard.
