Victorian Caravan and Camping show goes virtual
Even with the challenges Victorians and Australians have faced in recent times, first bushfires and then the Covid-19 pandemic, Australian’s still spent 56.8 million nights caravanning and camping in year ending March 2020.
This was an increase on the previous year by 2.3 million.
With both the industry and consumers suffering lockdowns, travel restrictions and future uncertainty this year’s virtual show organized by the Caravan Industry Victoria will provide a positive opportunity for planning a way forward.
It also seeks to reclaim what is a traditional Australian pastime – making memories in the great outdoors by caravanning and camping with love ones.
Rob Lucas, CEO Caravan Industry Victoria, stated, ‘This virtual show is a way that the Association can assist both the industry and many people by providing a safe online opportunity that allows consumers to engage with exhibitors in real time through online chats, observe demonstrations, obtain quotes and get excited about planning their next caravan and camping holiday.’
‘As we all travel out of lockdown this show will provide the means for industry leads and it will showcase the best products in recreational vehicles, boating, travel destinations and accessories for the novice campers while also providing something new for the experienced traveler.

This year’s virtual Show will provide industry and consumers with an innovative, easy to use digital platform where consumers can safely visit, explore, compare and purchase products from over 150 exhibitors – just like any other caravan show but it’s free and can be accessed 24/7.
The Victorian Caravan & Camping Virtual Show will be open from 7am Wednesday 30 September until 11.50pm Sunday 4 October (AEST) for you to access at any time that is convenient
