Mixed results for Longwarry
Division 1: Longwarry 16/95 defeated Trafalgar 4/72

In a low scoring game, Longwarry got out to a five shot lead on end 16 but could only manage to win two more ends for the remainder of the game with Trafalgar getting up by three shots.
Brian Hennessey, Daniel Cooper, Barry White and Russell White (Skip) defeated Ian Mile’s team 25/14.
In a close game early with scores level at six all on end 10, Longwarry finished a stronger team the remainder of the game to win by 10 shots in a great team effort.
Glenn Pask, Ken White, Matt Eccles and Adam Proctor (Skip) defeated by Steve Lodge’s team 21/23.
Trafalgar got the jump on Longwarry and lead 12/0 after six ends, but Longwarry fought back and levelled the scores on end 14. The remainder of the game was a tight contest with Trafalgar eventually winning by two shots.

In another even game early, Longwarry set up their win picking up 12 shots in five ends from end nine and continued to bowl well as a team to win by 17 shots.
Division six: Longwarry 39 Defeated by Newborough 40

With scores level at eight all on end 12, the Longwarry team finished the stronger winning eight of the last 12 ends to record a six shot win.
Sharon Twite, Ron Sutton, Judy Eastwell and Mark Serong (Skip) defeated by Joan Lee’s team 19/26.
The Longwarry team went into the break leading by two shots but could only manage to win three of the last 12 ends with Newborough winning by seven shots.
