Mawarra – A division of Knoxbrooke, prides itself on being an advocate for the recycle, re-use, re purpose and conscious consumer movement.
Our Op Shop aptly named Vintage Vibes by Mawarra, is located at 40 Palmerston St and is a treasure trove of pre loved and vintage items that have been donated by our local community with all proceeds returning to the Mawarra by Knoxbrooke Centre, right here in Warragul.
Locals supporting Locals! It has a great vibe and the feedback from our loyal and new customers has been extremely positive.
Op Shopping is like treasure hunting, you never know what you are going to find and sifting through a rack of clothes, shoes, records or even handbags can lead you to a hidden gem.
It is also great for the planet.
Op shopping satisfies that bit of retail therapy we crave without the environmental implications or the hit to the wallet and almost guarantees you won’t turn up to a gathering wearing the same as someone else!

Located at 14 June Crt Warragul, is our amazing Sorting Centre.
Yep, just when you thought we just had our Op Shop! This is where our donations land first.
This place runs like a well oiled machine by a fantastic team of volunteers.
Our creative staff, volunteers and supported employees, work very hard to ensure every donation is sorted, priced and sold, re purposed as a quirky shop prop or re donated to another like-minded community organisation to continue its recycling journey.
We hold lots of furniture, linen, toys, outdoor furniture and we even have a very quaint yet always expanding nursery of high quality plants from Yarra View Nursery, another social enterprise by Knoxbrooke.
We recycle scrap
metal, electrical cables, cardboard and plastics. Broken furniture and even mattresses are stripped down to their springs to a more manageable size and sent off for further recycling, therefore minimising landfill waste.
