Mid Gippsland vote count

-

The official count for all grades of Mid Gippsland football and netball was streamed through Facebook and YouTube last Friday.

The presentation included videos supplied by clubs acknowledging the hard work and long hours by so many officials, volunteers, players, coaches, and sponsors in the most trying of circumstances.

The overriding theme was the enjoyment and satisfaction every club felt in being a part of the new 13 team competition and how much they are looking forward to renewing their newly formed rivalries and friendships in 2022.

In the seniors vote count, Ambu Uliandu took home the BnF with 24 votes. Runners up went to Foster’s Brendan Neville on 16 votes, Mirboo North’s Liam Nash was one vote behind on 15.

The A-Grade netball winner was Yinnar’s Skye McDonald, with runners up Danni Dunn from Morwell East.

“We had a very successful season across the board between football and netball, with all of our teams finishing in the top six.
