Keep your smile for life

-

Drouin Dental has provided preventative dental care for Drouin and its surrounding community since 1954.

We are working towards helping our clients “Keeping their smile for life.” Regular dental appointments mean that we can help you “keep your teeth for life”, keeping your gums healthy and teeth decay-free.

It is recommended by the Australian Dental Association that you visit the Dentist twice a year, every 6 months. With a routine preventative care appointment our Dentists, Oral Health Therapist or Hygienist can detect anything new or monitor any pre-existing conditions.

We will let you know if you are missing areas while cleaning. We can detect cavities, tooth problems and gum problems early. Enabling us to treat before the problem gets large, possibly painful, and more expensive.

Also, we will check all your soft tissues, like your lips, cheeks, tongue, and roof of your mouth (palate).

Between your regular dental appointments, what you do at home is very important to help keep your teeth for life and your smile healthy and bright.

Here are some helpful hints to help: - Brush your teeth 2 times a day, with a small headed soft bristled toothbrush or an Electrical toothbrush. - Use a Fluoridated toothpaste, spit don’t rinse. - Toothbrush bristles can’t reach between the teeth, so using floss or an interdental brush, is just as important as the toothbrush. - Avoid snacking between meals. Our aim is to enable you to “chomp” comfortably on any food you want to.

Now that’s something to make you Smile for life!
