Technology help?

-

Warragul Community House has solutions.

If you phone 5623 6032 or call into 138 Normanby St, we can have a chat about what will best suit you.

There’s always tea and coffee and a warm welcome too!

Some of our solutions are free, some have a small cost – it’s up to you to choose.

We offer individual help with your phone and/or doing things online at no cost.

Our cheerful volunteers, Kalai or Cat will help you individually with the challenges of online e.g. filling in forms, downloading an app or other uses of your phone, laptop or computer.

If you are new to computers, you may like to join Heather in the free ‘Be Connected’ classes each Thursday morning. Heather will help you learn at your own pace, choosing what you would like to know about.

If your phone is great, but still a bit of a mystery, then join Scott to ‘Make the Most of Your iPhone / iPad or Android phone / device’. This short 8 hour course is only $90 or $80 concession.

Where else would you get something for just $10 an hour?

The course will make your life that much easier. Our tutor is knowledgeable and patient and will show you, work with you and assist you to develop your skills.

You can learn about your computer, how to search the web, use zoom to connect to others in our ‘Digital Matters – Living in a Digital World’ course. Mike knows his way around a computer and will step you through developing your knowledge.

Join Jack in our ‘Easy Steps to Computers for Beginners’ class to build your confidence in word processing documents (and editing / ‘proofing’ documents), why and how to use spreadsheets, saving and storing documents safely.

Then you may like to follow up with ‘Intermediate Computers’ to increase your computer confidence.

This course will teach you about internet safety, how Cloud Computing works, email management, using the features of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Warragul Community House has some laptops that we loan out so you can have a go at home too.

Our staff and volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable and we love to connect people to the community… so give us a call to talk about your technology challenges.
