Bricks to the townies that have moved to the area around East West Rd complaining about loud motorbikes.

Well welcome to the country, feel free to call down and have a coffee while my children enjoy their freedom instead of hiding behind anonymous letters because that’s a city mentality.

Bricks to VicRoads, developers and Baw Baw Shire for the stupid dangerous east end of McNeilly Rd development works. Just waiting to hear of a head-on collision. The road should be duplicated right through to Princes Way and Buln Buln Rd freeway entrance should be brought up to standard.

Bricks to the Big Blokes BBQ (Gazette 18/10). This event to raise money for cancer research, and I’m sure with the best of intentions, also raised a curious irony or two. According to WHO, meat is classified as a leading carcinogen (along with tobacco and asbestos). Dave Hughes, entertainer for the event, is among a growing number who avoid such foods for the very same reason. I wonder which will dawn on people first, common sense or irony.

Bouquets to the Gazette for its reporting of the Tetoora Road Public Hall Centenary weekend held at the Community Centre. It’s greatly appreciated.

A huge brick to the speeding trucks down Jackson Drv, Drouin using their air brakes at all hours of the day and night, this is not only dangerous but reckless. Shame on you.

Bouquets to the big smiles on page 47 of The Gazette 18/10 and thank you to the volunteers who made them possible. Go scout leaders!

Bricks to the critics. I am sure the V/Line workers in Bunyip and Longwarry have been good for their respective economies.

A brick bat for Baw Baw Shire. Why do you have someone driving around highlighting half the potholes with white paint. Forget the paint, send this road artist around with pothole fixing material and a shovel instead.
