Round four of Mid Gippsland Junior Badminton Associatio­n was played.

B grade

This week's teams were:

Team One: Rouan White, Bailey Huntingfor­d, Tim McDonald.

Team Two: Archer Thorne, Tom Hansford, Jai Baker, Aaron Cromie.

Team One with 173 aces five games (with two of the matches without a recorded score) defeated Team Two 197 aces three games.

Doubles game of the week was the one and three doubles, with Rouan and Tim defeating Archer and Aaron 30/27. In the singles game of the week, Rouan defeated Archer 30/23.

Rankings for this week in total aces: Tim 90, Aaron 87, Rouan and Bailey 83, Archer 80, Tom 76, and Jai 67.

C grade

Drouin 255/5 defeated Labertouch­e 240/1, Warragul 216/5 defeated Ellinbank Blue 131/1, Ellinbank Gold bye.

D grade

Warragul Ninjas and Warragul Warriors had a tie, with 115 aces and three games each.

Drouin defeated Warragul Ninjas 100/4 to 96/2, Drouin defeated Warragul Warriors 110/4 to 99/2.

C/D grade game of the week: Game of the week was D grade between Warragul Ninjas and Warragul Warriors, with a total score of 115 aces and three games each.

In the one and two doubles, Paige Huntingfor­d and Justin Smith defeated Mia Harrington and Ashlyn Board 21 to 16.

The three and four doubles saw Shanae Board and Jack Ngjaka defeat Lara Board and Malika Pavlier 21 to 16.

In the singles, Mia defeated Paige 21/17, Justin defeated Ashlyn 21/20, Lara defeated Shanae 21/20 and Malika defeated Jack 21/15.

Little Smashes

Four players turned up for the competitio­n this week who played three games of special doubles and two games of singles each.

In the special doubles, Sophie Sheil earned 63 aces, Morgan Fox earned 42 aces, Donny Martin earned 35 aces, and Cooper Fox earned 32 aces.

In the singles, Sophie won 2/2 games with 22 aces total, Donny won 1/2 games with 18 aces total, Morgan won 1/2 games with 17 aces total, and Cooper won 0/2 games with seven aces total.
