Tinies:

Our green certificate winner this week is Kaya Kaur for her colouring of the Easter bunny! Kaya’s picture was very detailed, she added a lovely background, including a big blue sky, soft grass and some fluffy clouds. I thought Kaya did a great job staying between the lines when she coloured, especially on the patterned Easter eggs. She used Texta to colour the eggs and did well to make sure the different colours of Texta didn’t bleed together. I also liked the bunny’s soft pink ears and pink tummy! Great work Kaya!

Juniors:

This week’s green certificate winner is Macy Lappin for her colouring of two kids playing in autumn leaves. Macy used coloured pencils in her picture and did a great job with her shading, it make the picture look soft. I liked the way Macy coloured the pile of leaves. She used different shades of green for the leaves on top of the pile and coloured the rest of the pile in brown. I thought this was a great way to give the effect that the pile was big, without having to colour every single leaf! Great work Macy!

Niamh Jensen is our yellow certificate winner this week for her colouring of the Easter bunny. Niamh used sparkly gel pen to colour in the patterned Easter eggs, I really liked how the different colours made each part of the pattern stand out. Niamh did a good job staying between the lines in her picture, especially when colouring the bunny’s runners. Each section of the shoe had it’s own special colour and I liked that both shoes matched. My favourite part were the sparkly pink laces. Great work Niamh!
