- by Davyd Reid

Windy conditions made for a low scoring affair in the reserves match between Lang Lang and Trafalgar.

The Tigers were able to find goals in the second and final terms which ultimately proved the difference, the home side winning 2-8 (20) to 0-6 (6).

Zach Williamson, Trent Harvie, Brock Duggan, Benjamin Barwick and Bryce Fraser helped Lang Lang hold the slight edge.

Trafalgar were best served by Zack Brown, Owen Zimora, Jaxen Row, Ben Cunico, Blake Zimora and Keegan Tullett.

NEERIM-NEERIM SOUTH's ability to defend well helped it to victory over Buln Buln, conceding just four goals to win 7-6 (48) to 4-8 (32).

Two goals to nil to begin the contest and three goals to one in the third term gave the Cats the buffer required, conceding three goals to two against the breeze.

Matthew Roberts, Jack Erickson, Adam White, Lachlan Ramage and Matthew Kelliher were prominent for the Cats.

The Lyrebirds were best served by Aaron Warner, Sean Symes, Logan Wallmeyer, Ryan Bradshaw, Jacob Pickthall and Jaran Guy.
