Nilma-Darnum's stunning turnaround of form continued as the Bombers comfortably accounted for Catani in the Ellinbank District reserves.

Four goals to one in the second term opened the buffer Nilma-Darnum needed, the Bombers having a slight edge across the remainder of the contest to win 9-13 (67) to 4-4 (28).

Jamie Graham, Trent Fritzlaff, Adam Cameron, Ben Lucas, Boeden Fries and Sam Anderson inspired the Bombers to another victory.

Catani were best served by Jayden Lay, Josh Miller, Mitchell Smith, Joshua Seppings, Robert Simpson and Liam Simpson.

OTHER matches were one-sided affairs as the top teams appear to establish themselves early in the competition.

Ellinbank kept Yarragon goalless on the way to winning 18-12 (120) to 0-1 (1).

The Panthers held well to begin and finish the match, but the Eagles were simply far too strong across the middle periods.

Andrew Quirk, Lachlan Pratt (five goals), Sam Barwick, David Miller, James Richards and Brayden Rintoule led the way for Ellinbank.

Ryan Young, David Bates, Ty Keeble, Josh Smith-Butterworth, Tim Fraser and Dylan Binzer battled against the odds for Yarragon.

NEERIM-NEERIM SOUTH started and finished well for a big win over Trafalgar, 1518 (108) to 2-3 (15).

Six goals in the first term and five majors in the final quarter set up the result, the Cats held to just four goals across the middle periods of the game.

Lachlan Ramage, Adam White, Lachlan Guy, Jackson Williames, Reece Clarke and Matthew Kelliher stepped up for the Cats.

Tyron Stevens, Jackson Noonan, Zachary Mills, Brett Cameron, Blake Zimora and Tai Langan helped try to bring the game back for the Bloods.

LANG LANG comfortably accounted for Longwarry, 12-12 (84) to 2-6 (18).

The Crows competed well across the middle period of the match, scoring two goals to three, but otherwise found the Tigers too strong.

Jack Jenkins, Nathan Perkins, Lincoln King, Brent Miller and Brock Duggan helped the Tigers bookend a strong performance.

Longwarry were best served by Josh Bourke, Mitchell Young, Lucas Kallady, John Werner, Josh Collett and Jonah Serong.

NYORA have found some early season joy with a strong win over a struggling Poowong.

Joshua Browne, Lachlan Roberts, Tyson Shiell, Shaun Lamb, Anthony Scott and Christian White led the way for the Saints.

The better players for the Magpies were Michael Robertson, Timothy Gallert, Jake Peacock, Caspian Jackman-Riches, Mathew Burr and Aaron Cole.
