PROFESSIONALS Newlands Surfers Paradise is taking 15 properties to auction next week.

Principal John Newlands said there would be a variety of properties from entry-level apartments to family houses and luxurious penthouses going under the hammer at the January 25 event.

“We’re expecting to have some solid results on the night as inquiry so far has been good,” he said. “The Gold Coast is one of the fastestgrowing areas in the country.

“There’s lots of infrastructure on the Coast and the population is growing.”

He advised potential buyers to do their homework and bid with confidence.

“Lots of people are moving back to the Coast to take advantage of the construction and tourism industries which are performing quite well,” Mr Newlands said. Among the properties up for auction is penthouse two in tower two of the Oracle complex in Broadbeach.

“It’s built over two levels with its own rooftop swimming pool and outstanding 360degree views,” Mr Newlands said.

The apartment, on level 40, has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The kitchen has an integrated fridge and European appliances.

On the northern end of the Coast, a fourbedroom Biggera Waters home will also be offered at the auction. The property features low-maintenance manicured gardens, a pool and expansive outdoor deck.

The event will kick off at 6pm at the Southport Yacht Club.
