Looking for an entertainer’s haven? This waterfront Bundall home offers a lifestyle of relaxation, privacy and alfresco dining on the water’s edge

STEP inside this contemporary Sorrento waterfront home and the expansive view will take your breath away. Su Ngoc and husband Duy bought the two-level four-bedroom house in 2009 after the outlook of the Glitter Strip captured their interest.

“We have a view from almost every corner of the house,” Ms Ngoc said. “It’s a perfect vista of Surfers Paradise and we often watch the fireworks on the beach from here.”

With soaring ceilings and several living areas, Ms Ngoc said the home was the perfect entertainer’s haven for a family.

“We are always outdoors,” the mother-of-two said. “We have the doors and windows open and the breeze comes straight in. The kids have loved growing up here. They’ve had their birthdays, formal get-togethers and pool parties – we have had all their friends come around and the house has always been a perfect fit.”

From the front, a gatehouse entry and Zen courtyard sets a tranquil scene while inside a timber staircase and floating hallway creates a sophisticated feel throughout.

“It’s a very spacious and relaxing house but you don’t feel like it’s too big – it’s very homely and cosy,” she said.

Timber bi-fold doors open out to the alfresco entertainment area and waterside pool.

Ms Ngoc said the family had given the house a fresh coat of paint, landscaped the backyard and updated the kitchen.
